Welcome to the Roundup! Depending on how Wes Welker will play tonight, my Fantasy Football team will hopefully be 4-2. Matt Prater needs to kick a few 40-yard field goals, that would help. Anyway, there’s some really cool stuff in this post, so get listenin’. Pic related: it’s me and Artem.
First off, and amazing rework of one of my favorite oldie bands. I kinda want to do a BMore club edit of Nothing But Flowers, but Gigamesh did me a solid making this.
Odd Job is a duo comprised of Connor and Nick from the Boston area. A good friend of mine showed me one of their tracks a year ago, and I knew the only way for them was up. They released “Modern V-Neck” on Peak Hour Music this past summer, and that track has become a staple in my house sets. On this weeks Roundup, they collaborated with Bamboora, one of Boston’s most popular DJ’s, for this awesome four-to-the-floor electro banger. Hopefully you’ll see me do a collab with Odd Job soon.
I really like FootwoRk, and I saw that he reposted this remix from Modified Drugs. I know real trap shit when I hear it.
BRAH! HEY BRAH! YOU EVEN KNOW SNAVS BRAH? EVERYBODY KNOWS HIM.
Now for something real fresh. Le Moti is a collaboration between Durtysneakz & Slopes from Pittsburgh, and their productions have been unreal. They just put out a free little EP full of chill trill beats.
Now my favorite thing right now – ZOUK BASS. My homie JSTJR is still cranking out tunes, and just gave away this free single on the one and only Generation Bass.
Wouldn’t be a good Roundup without moombahton. Pedro from Mala Noche sends me amazing new tracks weekly, but this Locomotive remix just radiates tropical tightness.
Oh yeah, so that Dubco Compilation came out the other week too, you should get it.
Bonus round: GANGSTER ANIME JUKE FROM JAZAKID
